Q: If I miss the deadline, can I still sign up?

A: Yes, Provided there is still space on the team you would like to be on. All late registering players must include a $10 late fee, and email Dena Reardon at info@beachfieldhockey.com.  They can also call the hockey hotline. (757-422-5915)

Q: How many days a week are we committed to?

A: A: Summer: 8-12 year olds – 6 weeks beg. around the end of June (varies from year to year)  2 days per week

13 & up-  6 weeks around the end of June (varies from year to year) 1 hour games 2 days per week 13 & up is a playing league only with no practices.

Spring: 8 to 15 year olds play every Sat. between the hours of 9:00 and 2:00 and practice once a week for a 6 week period. Practice times are determined by individual coaches. Players are grouped by neighborhood unless otherwise specified. 16 & up plays on Sun. afternoon between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00. No practices.

Winter: 8 & up participate indoor on Sun. afternoons for 1 hour games between the hours of 9:00am and 2:00pm. No practices. 8-12 year olds are coached and 13-15 have an official/coach.

Q: Where do they play?

A: Spring/Summer: USA Field Hockey Training Center (SportsPlex area) Virginia Beach, VA

Winter: Larkspur Middle School, Virginia Beach
