Spring League

Spring League 2011

Games played at the USA TURF CENTER (Virginia Beach Sportsplex)

April 23rd, April 30th, May 8th, May 15th, May 28th and May 29th

All PEE WEE (6-7YR OLDS), YOUTH (8-10), JUNIORS  (11-12), and SENIORS

(13-15). Teams will meet at the designated field area for coach-guided game

sessions.  They will also practice once a week in their neighborhood practice

areas. Individual team coaches will schedule practice dates.

Game times will follow later this month for age groups: (PEEWEE) (YOUTH)

(JUNIORS) (SENIORS) as determined by league enrollment numbers.

U18/U18CLUB, 18+CLUB/CO-ED (Playing league only with officials) Games will

take place at the end of league day.

SAME DAYS AS REMAINDER OF LEAGUE  April 23rd, April 30th, May 8th,

May 15th, May 28th and May 29th

FOR U18/U18CLUB AND CO-ED.  Rosters will be available on

line 1 week before league play.  Calls will only be made for any

add-ons or changes to rosters.

Most of the league coaches and officials are high school field hockey players that

are recommended by their coaches. In addition to creating a chance for hockey

players to perfect their skills year round, the league also provides an opportunity

for high school players to coach and/or officiate for possibly the first time.

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS  now April 8th, 2011 as spaces are filling fast
