SPRING LEAGUE 2008: Virginia Beach; Cost is $65.00
Where ? Games played at the USA Turf Center (Sportsplex area) & First Colonial High School. Space is limited. NO CLEATS ALLOWED on AstroTurf!
When & Who? All Youth(8-10), Juniors(11-12), & Seniors(13-15) will meet at the field area for coach-guided game sessions. They will also practice once a week in their neighborhood practice areas. Individual team coaches will schedule practice dates.
For age groups 8- 15 years League Game - Saturdays, April 19,26, May 3,10; held at USA Turf Center, May 17,& 31, held at First Colonial High School . Game times are approx: (YOUTH) // 9am-10:00am, (JUNIORS) / 10:00 –12:00 pm, SENIORS— 1:00 –3:00 pm, determined by league enrollment numbers. Games for ELITE (16 & up) & CO-ED / BOYS at the Turf Site on Sundays - April 20,27, May 4, 11th. On grass, at First Colonial High School on May 18th & June 1st. 4:00 - 7:00 pm. ( Playing league only)
DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS MARCH 1, 2008.
Players will be called/emailed 1 week before the starting date.

Most of the league coaches and officials are high school field hockey players that are recommended by their coaches. We also use rated officials and high school coaches. In addition to creating a chance for hockey players to perfect their skills year round, the league also provides an opportunity for high school players to coach and/or officiate for possibly the first time.
