SUMMER LEAGUE 2008 :Virginia Beach; Cost: $65.00
Where? USA Turf Center (Sportsplex area)
Ages 7- 10 : 5:30- 6:45 and ages 11-12 : 6:45- 8:00 will enjoy coached play on Mondays June 30 and July 7,14, and 21. Opening and closing day will be on Saturday June 28th and Aug. 2 9:00-10:30 for Ages 8-10 and 10:30 to 12:00 for ages 11-12.
Boys ages 7-12 may also participate if there is enough interest during the above dates and times. It will depend on how many boys register. REMEMBER: field hockey is an olympic sport for men!
Ages 13-15 : play on tues. between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00 ( may vary depending on #'s ) . July 1, 8 15, and 22. Opening and closing days will be on Saturday June 28th and Aug. 2nd between the hours of 12:00 and 3:00.
It is a playing league only ( no practices ). They will have a coach/official to guide them through their games.
Ages 16-18 and 18 and uo Co-ed : Will also play on tues. July 1, 8, 15, and 22 between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 ( hours may vary depending on #'s ) Opening and closing days will be on Saturday June 28th and Aug. 2nd between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00 It is a playing league only. ( no practices )

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS JUNE 1,2008. All players will be contacted by phone/email one week before starting date.
Players will be called/emailed 1 week before the starting date.
You should call the Hockey Hotline at 422-5915 for rain/snow makeups or call your coach!
Most of the league coaches and officials are high school field hockey players that are recommended by their coaches. We also use rated officials and high school coaches. In addition to creating a chance for hockey players to perfect their skills year round, the league also provides an opportunity for high school players to coach and/or officiate for possibly the first time.
